Allean (Gipson) Boswell

With sincere compassion, we respectfully announce the transition of Mrs. Allean Gipson-Boswell. A native of Grady, AL, and resident of Montgomery, AL, Mrs. Boswell transitioned Monday, October 10th, 2022. She was 81. A Public Visitation will be held Friday, October 21st, 2022 from 4-6PM in the chapel of Jackson Professional Funeral Services. A one hour Public Visitation will be held Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 from 10AM until the Home-Going celebration begins at 11AM at Helicon Missionary Baptist Church, Pastored by Rev. Frederick Lowery. Pastor Martin Stinson of St. James M.B.C. (Old Field) is the officiant. Committal and Interment will follow in the church-yard cemetery.

Born on December 28th, 1940 to the late Oscar and Ora Lee Gipson, in Helicon, Alabama.  -She confessed Christ, as her Savior at an early age.  She joined Helicon Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a faithful member until her death.  She married L.C. Boswell on August 17th, 1958.  They raised five children.  She worked at Rheem Manufacturing Company for 32 years.  After retirement, she did what she loved helping disabled elderly people, travelling, and spending time with her family. She was a faithful member of Eastern Star.  Allean worked in the different communities around Alabama.  She was a welcome member at several churches.

She lives to cherish her powerful memory a loving and devoted husband of 64 years, L. C, Boswell Sr.; three devoted sons; Willie (Frankie) Gipson of Marylan, L. C. (Katrina) Boswell Jr. of Montgomery and Kim (Yvonne) Boswell also of Montgomery; one devoted daughter: Pat Sellers of Montgomery; a devoted sister: Deloris Allen of California; twenty-six devoted grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and many devoted in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Dorothy and Gloria, brothers, sisters, two great-grandchildren and several other relatives.
