Annie Mae Baldwin

With sincere compassion, we respectfully announce the transition of Ms. Annie Mae Baldwin. A native of Bullock County Alabama & resident of Montgomery, AL, Ms. Baldwin transitioned on Friday, December 31st, 2021, at the age of 83. Public Visitation will be held Friday, January 7th, 2022, from 4-6pm, and again on Saturday, January 8th, 2022 from 12-1PM, in the McComb Honorary Chapel of J.P.F.S. The Graveside Service & Committal will take place at Lucas Cemetery (Atlanta Hwy) at 2PM on Saturday, January 8th, 2022. In compliance with government recommendations and J.P.F.S. public safety standards, individuals attending the public visitation are required to wear a mask or face covering at all times while inside the facility.

Ms. Annie Mae Baldwin, affectionately known as "Took",  was born in Bullock County, Alabama on October 16, 1938 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Tommie & Hannah Baldwin. She joined the Mt. Zion Baptist Church and confessed Christ at an early age.  She departed this life December 31, 2021.

Preceding her in death are five brothers: Willie Baldwin, James Baldwin, Cedric Baldwin, LD Baldwin, Richard Baldwin; and one sister, Frances Baldwin.  

Annie enjoyed family gatherings and good cooking. Later on in life Annie would often fellowship with the Freewill Missionary Baptist Church in Montgomery.

Although she had disabilities, "Took" knew and loved her family. For it takes a village and God provided her with that village “family”.  She leaves to cherish her memory; her youngest brother: Samuel Baldwin; two devoted sisters-in-law: Glorine Baldwin and Shannakay Baldwin; and a host of, Nieces and Nephews, other relatives and friends.
