A native of Miami, FL and resident of Montgomery, AL; Mr. Ellis transitioned Thursday, August 29th, 2024. He was 35. A Public Visitation will be held on Friday, September 13th, 2024 from 4-6PM in The A.S. Jackson Honorary Chapel of Jackson Professional Funeral Services. The Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, September 14th, 2024 at 1PM in the A.S. Jackson Honorary Chapel of Jackson Professional Funeral Services. The Committal and Interment will follow at Union Benevolent Cemetery. Bishop Robert T. Lewis is the Officiant & Eulogist.
Brandon Bernard Ellis was born September 7th, 1988 in Miami, Florida to Lisa Ellis Harvey and Bobby Stokes, Jr. He departed this life on August 29, 2024.
Brandon Leaves to cherish his memories; a loving and devoted mother: Lisa Ellis (Craig) Harvey; a loving and devoted father: Bobby (Stephanie) Stokes, Jr.; five brothers: Kevin Harvey, Craig Harvey, Jr., Shakur Young, MaKaveli Young and Jamikal Johnson; five sisters: Brittany Nichole Ellis, Jasmine (Jeremy) Harvey, Mercedes (Jeremy) Jones, Jasmine (Keith) Bryant and Chica (Tony) McCall; a loving grandmother: Joanne Braswell; grandfather: Bobby Stokes, Sr.; five nieces: Passion Ellis, Kali Young, Harmony Ellis, Anila Harvey, and Ny'Keryia Harvey Davis; two nephews: Durell Taunton, Jr. and Carson Felder; six aunts: Theresa Stewart, Bernice Braswell, Keshia Braswell, Bridgette Stokes, Lynn Williams and Patricia (Peter) Taylor; four uncles: Ben (Aretha) Braswell, Al (Jakina) Whatley, Daryl (Kezia) Whatley and Deundra (Anna) Stewart; a devoted God-mother: Emmie Dubose; and a host of great aunts, uncles cousins, other relatives and friends.
Brandon is preceded in death by; a brother: Warrick Ruggs; his grandparents: Jessie Mae Oneal, Willieletta Stokes, Natha Ella Pettus, Barry Williams, Ben Braswell, Jr. and Ruban Stewart; uncles Kevin Braswell, Rashad Ramsey, Levon Stewart; a nephew: Keunta Taunton; and a cousin: Jamichael Stokes.
