With sincere compassion, we respectfully announce the transition of Ms. Christine Jackson Hill. A native of Millbrook, AL, and resident of Montgomery, AL, Ms. Hill transitioned on Thursday, November 4th, 2021, at the age of 56. A homegoing celebration will be held Saturday, November 13th, 2021, at 1PM from Jackson Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Coosada, AL. Pastor Brown is the officiant with Minister Reginald Hill delivering the eulogy. Committal and interment will follow at Long Cemetery.
Ms. Christine Jackson-Hill was born May 14th, 1965, to the union of Mr. Hunt T. and Mrs. Sallie L. Jackson. She graduated from Stanhope Elmore High School. Christine was employed by Koch Foods as a Network Quality Processor. She served as a member of Christ Center Church in Montgomery, AL. Some affectionately knew her as "Christy Love," while others knew her as the "Layaway Queen." Ms. Hill loved to shop, travel, read her bible, and spend time with her grandchildren; she was excitedly looking forward to the birth of a fifth grandchild upon whom she could lavish her tender loving care.
Survivors left behind to mourn Ms. Hill's demise and hold her memories close at heart are her three children: Jennifer (Maurice Golden) Hill, Reginald Hill, Jr., and Regina Hill, all of Montgomery, AL; grandchildren: Davian Hill, Elena Hill, Keyshawn Hill, Zy'Rihanna Hill all of Montgomery, AL; siblings: Jihad Mandi-Jinnah (Khaliah), Juanita (Danny Lykes) Jackson, and Priscilla (James) Jackson all of Millbrook, AL, Eugene (Christine) Jackson of Prattville, AL, Janie Graves of Montgomery, AL, Kimberly (Clarence) Shines of South Carolina, and John (Alecia) McGhgee of Autaugaville, AL; and an adopted son: Qwondedric McWillias. Others lamenting her passing include a host of additional relatives, God-brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends.
