With sincere compassion, we respectfully announce the transition of Mr. Clarence E. Thomas, also known as "Ush". A native, and resident of Montgomery, AL; Mr. Thomas transitioned Monday, August 8th, 2022. He was 59. A Public Visitation will be held Friday, August 19th, 2022, from 4 to 6PM in the Chapel of J.P.F.S. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11AM on Saturday, August 20th, 2022 in the churchyard cemetery of White Cloud Baptist Church Peoples Baptist Church. Pastor Hayward Anderson is the officiant. Committal and Interment will follow.
Mr. Clarence E. Thomas, also known as "Ush," was born July 22nd, 1963 in Montgomery, AL to Mr. Fred Thomas, Sr. and Mrs. Bessie Lee Thomas.
Clarence is preceded in death by his parents; his sister: Ferry Jean Thomas Calhoun, brothers: Fred Thomas, Jr. and Jesse Thomas.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, a loving and devoted daughter: Stacy Harriel of Montgomery, AL; a loving and devoted son: Jamie Thomas of Montgomery, AL; and a grandson: Jamari Isaiah Thomas; five loving and devoted sisters: Shirley Teague of Ramer, AL, Barbara Huffman, Annie Barber, Servera Thomas and Ava Ridgle, all of Montgomery, AL; two loving and devoted brothers: Curtis Thomas and Theodore (Katherine) Thomas, both of Montgomery, AL; a loving and devoted sister-in-law: Mary Thomas of Grady, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
