With sincere compassion, we respectfully announce the transition of Mr. Delrico Gibson. A native of Detroit, MI, and resident, of Clanton, AL; Mr. Gibson transitioned Saturday, August 26th, 2023. He was 65.
My beloved Delrico….
Words cannot describe the deepness of your absence in my life, and in the hearts of the ones you have touched, and of those who truly knew you and loved you. Your children and your grandchildren will miss the imagination that you fostered, and of the possibilities one can achieve if you believe.
The unconditional love you gave was beyond and true. Your stories of encounters and struggles you endured and overcame; your joys and your pains, only to realize it is not about us, it’s Love, Gods Love.
The love of family that you always held on to, even when they don’t hold on to you. The love for the community, even when they won’t unite. To the core of your being, you trusted God. You were always trying to build on visions of Good Success. Your style, your swag made people notice. Whether it was your dress or your voice it started a connection; always leading to conversations about God, and how Jesus Christ is our Lord and savior.
Our love of the Lord Together, kept us strong when we grew weak.
Our love of the Lord Together, kept us firm on a foundation that did not falter.
Our love for the Lord Together, kept us steady on faithfulness.
Our love of the Lord Together, kept our love for each other always true.
We will miss you! I will miss you always and forever!
