On October 15th, 1971, Linda Tyson and Howard Brewton, Sr. welcomed the arrival of their eldest son, Howard Brewton, Jr.

Howard accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age, and later received the Holy Ghost at the tender age of 16. The evidence of his conversion and his strong enthusiasm eventually ushered his mother and siblings to Christ. He was a devout member and deacon of Macedonia Miracle Kingdom & Worship Center. He thoroughly enjoyed serving the ministry, and being a personal adjutant to Apostle Leo S. Lewis, Sr. The Grace and Mercy that covered his life shined bright. Not only was he a humanitarian, Howard was a Disciple for Christ and encouraged everyone that he came in contact with. Amidst all of his counsel and words of advice, he was often known to say, “Always make wise decisions, and wise choices.”

He believed in standing on the power of prayer and lived a lifestyle that encouraged love for everyone, no matter the race, gender or belief.

“Red Mane,” as he was affectionately known by those close to him, graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in 1990. He continued his education by attending and graduating from Trenholm State Community College as a Cosmetologist. His industrious career began in the early 90’s at Elaine’s Hair Design. Howard Brewton is infamously known as a top stylist in Montgomery, AL. He was endowed with more 30 years of tenured experience. Becoming a Design Essentials Platform Artist and Master Cosmetologist would be just two of his attainments. His dream of entrepreneurship came into fruition when he opened The Adore Hair Salon as owner and operator. Howard was also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.

Friday, January 27th, 2023, Howard joined an awaiting host of angles along with his mother: Linda Tyson, father: Howard Brewton Sr., brother: Howard Harris, and grandmothers: Lula Brewton & Minnie Moore

His legacy and love will live on through; his son: Jordan Brewton; two daughters: Grace Claybon and Elizabeth Brewton; two sisters: Tiffanie Zimmerman and Stephanie (Kevin) Baker; his fiancé: Dominique Dortch; a niece: Linda Baker; five nephews: Jeremiah Tyson, Brandon Baker, Dimitrius Zimmerman Jr., David (Brenda) Zimmerman and Matias Harris; two children that he loved as his own: Endiyah Martin and Kynnedi Abrams; two aunts: Annie L. Brewton and Minnie Pearl (Alonza) Arrington, all  of Montgomery, AL; eight uncles: Curtis L.
