With sincere compassion, we respectfully announce the transition of Mr. J.C. Williams. A native of Hope Hull, AL, and resident, of Montgomery, AL, Mr. Williams transitioned Monday, April 10th, 2023. He was 73. A Public Visitation will be held from 4-6PM, Sunday, April 16th, 2023 in the Chapel of Jackson Professional Funeral Services. The Homegoing Celebration will be held Monday, April 17th, 2023 at 12NOON. This service will be held at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church; with the committal and interment following at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery. Pastor Shederick Abner is the officiant.
JC Williams was born on June 5, 1949 to the late Henry and Rosie Gamble Williams in Hope Hull, Alabama. He received Christ at an early age and joined New Pleasant Valley AME Zion Church in Hope Hull, Alabama. JC peacefully transitioned to his heavenly home on Monday, April 10, 2023. He was proceeded in death by his wife Martha Stinson; brothers: LC Williams, Willie Edwards, Willie Joe Williams; sisters: Lilly Mae Bell Timmons, Viola Davis, Emma Gaines and Essie Mae Stiles.
He leaves to cherish his memories one son: Jerry (Rekesha) Jones, two daughters: Della (Neal) Jones, Veronica (Alfonzo-a devoted son-in-law)Johnson; nine grandchildren: Shantana Jones, Rodriquez Jones, Darren Jones, Santwone Jones,Tajiri Jones, Dajiris Jones, Dominiques Washington all of Montgomery, Alabama. Alfonzo AJ Johnson Jr. and Jalen JJ Johnson of Wetumpka, Alabama. Thirteen great grandchildren, two sisters: Lula Williams and Dorothy (Earl) Hill; one brother: Henry (Betty) Willams of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Devoted neighbors Roderichas (Shawanda) and Ms. Carri and her daughter Jonnie. A special friend: Arthur Ott (Margarette) Dillard. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
