With sincere compassion, we respectfully announce the transition of Mr. Jarvis Lequell Lockley, a native and resident of Montgomery, AL. Mr. Lockley transitioned on Wednesday, February 16th, 2022. He was 31. A Public Visitation will be held in the Family Visitation Suite of Jackson Professional Funeral Services on Friday, February 25th, 2022, from 4-6PM. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 26th, 2022 at 11AM from Old Augusta Baptist Church. Pastor David Harris is the Officiant. Committal & Burial will follow the service in the Old Augusta Baptist Church Cemetery. In compliance with government recommendations and J.P.F.S. public safety standards, public health and safety protocols have been established, and are enforced. All individuals attending the Public Visitation are required to wear a mask or face covering at all times while inside the facility.
Jarvis Lequell "Joshlil" Lockley was born May 17th, 1990 in Montgomery, AL to Jimmy Harris and Katrina Ali-Fofanah. He departed this life on Wednesday, February 16th, 2022. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ethel Mae Lockley; two aunts: Joyce Elaine Tell and Cynthia Yvonne Blount.
His life and precious memories will forever be cherished by his daughter: Brooklyn Robinson; devoted mother and father: Katrina (Shaibu) Ali-Fofanah and Jimmy (Teretha) Harris; two sisters: Yberia Harris and Capreshia Wheeler; five brothers: Condarrious and Dvonte Lockley, Jeremy Sankey, Christian Brassel and Cornelius Wheeler; grandparents: Pastor Nathaniel (Minnie) Harris; seven aunts: Barbara Lockley, Lois (Eddie) Smoke, Veronica (Anthony) Moorer, Shawnia Lockley, Monica Lee, Gloria Crews and Jacquelin (Winston) Noland; five uncles: Charles (Tatonya) Lockley, Curtis (Teresa) Lockley, Durrly Lockley, Leroy (Audrey) Harris, Michael Harris and a host of nieces, nephews, family and special friends.
