With sincere compassion, we respectfully announce the transition of Mr. John Lee Moore. A native, and resident of Montgomery, AL, Mr. Moore transitioned, Saturday, April 13th, 2024. He was 55. A Public Visitation will be held Saturday, April 27th, 2024 from 4-6PM at Jackson Professional Funeral Services. The Celebration of Life will be held at Bell Road Church of Christ at 2PM on Sunday, April 28th, 2024. The Committal will follow and Interment will follow at Kindle Memorial Cemetery.
John "Johnny" Lee Moore was born on December 18, 1968 in Montgomery County, AL to John Milton Jones and Virginia Moore.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Virginia Moore McCall; and two brothers: Roosevelt McCall and Isaac Jones.
"Johnny," as he was affectionately called, confessed Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. Billie Dillard, Sr. at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL.
He graduated from George Washington Carver High School in Montgomery, AL. Johnny enjoyed his career as a licensed electrician. He leaves to cherish his memory; four sons: D'John Moore, Nigel Moore, Azalea Sankey and Christopher Dillajay; three brothers: Matthew McCall, Eddie (Lucile) Moore and Vincent (Rose Osborne) Moore; one sister: Etheleen McCall, all of Montgomery, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
