Obituary

With sincere compassion,  we respectfully announce the transition of Mr. Larry W. Ferrell, Sr., a resident of Montgomery, AL.  Mr. Larry Wayne Ferrell, Sr. Was born May 13th, 1951 in Elmore, Alabama. He was a loving, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Larry accepted Christ at an early age. He received his education in the Elmore County Schools System and graduated from Stanhope-Elmore High School. Larry’s industrial career included over two decades of service with Sylvest Farms, now known as Koch Foods. He was employed there for more than 25 years until he retired in 2008. A homebody, he enjoyed the simple things in life; talking on the phone to relatives and other things that allowed him to rest and relax. He departed this life on Sunday, February 6th, 2022, at the age of 70.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Robert Sinclair and Mittie Terry; his son: John Ferrell; siblings: Dave Anna Ashley, Bobby Jean Young, Rose Ellen Young, Louisa Graves, Mary Ruth Elmore, Annie B. McGhee, Pala Lee Ford, Mary Frances Cotton, Dorothy Hill, Donald Terry and Robert Sinclair, Jr.

Those left to cherish his memories are, his daughter: Catina (Donald) Smith; sons: Larry (Net) Ferrell, Jr. of Birmingham, Al; Terrell Williams, Terry Williams, Russell (Cherelle) Williams, Tommy Williams; and one God-son: Herman Dabney, all of Montgomery, AL; one brother: John Douglas Terry of Morristown, NJ, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services to celebrate the life and homegoing of Mr. Ferrell will conducted at a later date.
