With sincere compassion, we respectfully announce the transition of Melvin Jerome Steiner, Jr.. A native, and resident of Montgomery, AL, Melvin transitioned Monday, July 10th, 2023. He was 25. A Public Visitation will be held Friday, July 21st, 2023 between the hours of 4PM and 6PM at Freewill Missionary Baptist Church. Public Visitation will also be held Saturday, July 22nd, 2023 from 2 PM until the Celebration of Life begins at 3 PM. The Celebration of Life will also be held at Freewill Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Quentin Q. Byrd is the Officiant, Committal & Interment will follow at Kindle Memorial Cemetery.
Melvin Jerome Steiner Jr. was born on January 25, 1998, to Melvin Jerome Steiner Sr. (Betty) and Lawanda Michelle Flowers (Jeffery). He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Jessie and Prudence McDaniel (Maternal) and Roy Steiner and Martha Rose Knight (Paternal); an uncle: William Robinson; and an aunt: Schenita Knight McGhee.
Those who are left to cherish his memories are: his parents; his earthly grandparents: Belinda (Hubert ) Latimore; a son: Jayceon Robinson; devoted girlfriend: Breaunna Sellers; two stepchildren: Quintarance Sellers and Nevaeh “Big Gul” Sellers; four sisters: Tandreka (James) Pettus, Sherell (Vito) Steiner, Kiana Steiner and Dominique McGhee; a brother Justin Steiner; and a stepbrother: Caleb Flowers, all of Montgomery, Alabama. Cousins that are like brothers: Andrew Crawford, Rodriquez Steiner, Roderick “Lil Rod” Canada, and Derrick Freeman Jr.; devoted friends: Larissa Landon, Prentalvin Hunter, Jaquan Jackson, Dave, Kentrell, and his Love & Hip Hop Tender Edition Family, and the Big Homie group chat family. Melvin also leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
