She was 85.  Public visitation will be held on Friday, July 23rd, 2021, in the McComb Honorary Chapel of Jackson Professional Funeral Services from 4-6PM.  The homegoing service for Mrs. Walker will be held at 11AM on Saturday, July 24th, 2021, also in the JPFS chapel.  Minister Marcus Jones will officiate the service.  All attendees are required to comply with public health and safety policies as set forth by the CDC, state of Alabama, and J.P.F.S.  A mask or face covering is to be worn by everyone while inside of the facility.  Committal and interment will commence at First Missionary Baptist Church in Whitehall, AL, after the service, and a repast will follow at 4325 Esmond Road, Montgomery, AL.

Mrs. Sarah F. Jones-Walker was born to the late Mr. William Jones and Ms. Della P.J. Robinson on October 4th, 1935; she was one of eight siblings. Sarah accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Bezzela Springs A.M.E. Zion Church in Hope Hull, AL.  Later in life she married the love of her life, Mr. Harry Walker. Her church affiliations included Mobile Heights Baptist Church and Ebenezer Baptist Church, both located in Montgomery, AL. A devout Christian, Mrs. Walker served faithfully until her health failed.

Survivors who remain to mourn her passing, cherish her memories, and celebrate her life are three sisters: Mrs. Gertrude Bibb, Mrs. Annie Ruth Chaney, both of Montgomery, AL, and Mrs. Earnestine Vickers of Hope Hull, AL: and a host of other relatives and friends.

Sarah is preceded in death by both parents, her husband, a daughter, two sisters, and two brothers. Special thanks to Capital Hill Rehab & Staff.
