With sincere compassion, we respectfully announce the transition of Ms. Susan Elsie Granger. A resident of Valley, AL, Ms. Granger transitioned Monday, February 20th, 2023. She was 81. A private memorial will be held.
Ms. Granger was born in West Point, GA on July 15th, 1941 to Dock Granger and Margie Sanders-Granger. She received her high school diploma from Valley High School in Fairfax, AL. Susan also attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Endowed with secretarial and administrative skills, she proudly served as a secretary for Senator John Sparkman in Washington, D.C. and also, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in Atlanta, GA.. Susan enjoyed reading, puzzling, family tree research, traveling and visiting family & friends.
Those who remain to cherish her memory are; her sister: Mrs. Carol Ward of Dadeville, AL; brothers: Mr. Joe Granger of Valley, AL and Mr. Gary Granger of Tallassee, AL. She also leaves behind several, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends whom she loved.
