With sincere compassion, we respectfully announce the transition of Mr. Thomas Lacy Martin. A native & resident of Eclectic, AL, Mr. Martin transitioned on Friday, November 12th, 2021, at the age of 64. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 22nd, 2021, at 5PM from the McComb Honorary Chapel of J.P.F.S. In compliance with government recommendations and J.P.F.S. public safety standards, individuals attending the public visitation are required to wear a mask or face covering at all times while inside the facility.
Thomas Lacy Martin was born May 14th, 1957 to Mr. William Lacy Martin and Ms. Maryanne Blankenship. He was the eldest of ten children. He attended Montgomery Public Schools. Thomas loved carpentry and was very good at making toy boxes, bird houses and just building things.
He leaves to forever cherish and adore his memories, three children: Heather Stroud (Jason Davis), Travis Martin and Johnathan Martin; seven grandchildren: Tonya Martin, Joshua Stroud, Coby Martin, Trent Martin, Sadie Martin and Journie Martin; two great-grandchildren: Aydin Martin and Jaxon Malone; three brothers: James Martin, Randy Martin, Stevie Martin; four sisters: Debbie Gantt, Sandy Smith, Sonya Drost and Tammy Blakenship, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother: Gene Blakenship; and one sister: Mary Maddox.
