With sincere compassion, we respectfully announce the transition of Mrs. Toneka L. Rudolph. A resident of Montgomery, AL, Mrs. Rudolph transitioned Thursday, March 13th, 2025. She was 46. A Public Visitation will be held Friday, March 28th, 2025 from 4-6PM at Jackson Professional Funeral Services. The Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 29th, 2025 at 12NOON in the Alfredia Smith Jackson Honorary Chapel of J.P.F.S.
Toneka LaKaye Rudolph was born to Tommy Townsend and Debbie Skerlock on September 26, 1978 in West Palm Beach, Florida. She went to be with the Lord on March 13, 2025. She re-dedicated her life to Christ in 2016 under the pastoral leadership of Apostle J. Mims at New Miracle Deliverance House of Prayer, Montgomery, Alabama, serving as a faithful leader in the church. She was one of the sweetest persons you could meet. Toneka was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, hair stylist, and told everyone about the Lord. She was also a very faithful Daughter of the Lord,
Toneka met and married B.J. Rudolph over 20 years ago in West Palm Beach, Florida. To this union four children were born.
Her educational background began in the Palm Beach County School System: West Gate Elementary and Gold Coast Middle School, West Palm Beach, Florida, J. F. Kennedy Jr., Riviera Beach, Florida, Santaluces High School, Boynton Beach, Florida, and graduated at Trenholm, Montgomery, Alabama. She went on to J. P. Technical School and received her Cosmetology License; after which she received her Instructor’s/Cosmetology License at Dreamer’s School of Cosmetology, Alabaster, Alabama.
She worked in a few beauty & barber salons such as Cut’s By Us, Master’s Cuts, and the former Clifford Beauty Salon. Toneka eventually started her own business: Endurance Beauty and Hair Salon. She competed and placed in hair shows all around the States. She was working toward and looking forward to opening her own Cosmetology school.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Shira Curry.
She leaves to cherish precious memories to her husband, B.J. Rudolph; her children: JoNeka Mims, Alexus “China” Rudolph, Romeo Rudolph, LaPorsha Rudolph, Infiniti Rudolph, Quendarus Rudolph, and DeMario Rudolph, all of Montgomery, AL; her parents, Tommy and Debbie Townsend, West Palm Beach, FL; grandchildren, Addison, Au’Layha, Demario Gordon, Jr. & Nyasia Gordon; grandmother, Janie Harris; sisters: Talisha (Anthony) Wynds, West Palm Beach, FL, and April Townsend, New Orleans, LA; sisters-in-law: Tawanda Rudolph, LaFreda Rudolph; brothers-in-law: Timothy Rudolph and Derrick Rudolph; extended family, Apostle Joseph and Gail Mims, Joseph Mims, Jr., Joanna Mims, Nathan Mims, Daniel Mims, Amanda Mims, Abraham Mims, Christina Mims, Mary Mims, Sarah Mims, Montgomery, AL, Juanita Mims, Priscilla Mims, and Kelvin Johnson, Birmingham, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends: Tawanda, Aretha, Londa, and Monica.
