Mr.  Jackson  brings  a  wealth  of  knowledge,  experience,  professionalism,  and compassion  to  the  funeral  service  profession.  Lawrence  is  the  son  of  Mr. Lawrence E. Jackson, Sr. (deceased) & Ms. Alfredia Smith Jackson, eldest of five siblings, proud uncle of five nephews, and nieces, and a native of Baton Rouge, LA. He moved to Alabama in November of 2000 to pursue his ambition of Funeral service. L.J., as he is affectionately called, has always had an intense passion for music,  people,  excellence,  and  the  funeral  profession.  He  has  served  as  a member of the United States Army Reserve, began studies in computer science at   Southern   University,   and   then   completed   the   computer   programming curriculum   at   Camelot   Community   College   where,   in   fact,   he   was   the “Millennium Mr. Camelot.”

Lawrence began his career in the funeral industry in 1996. He is licensed by the Alabama Board of Funeral Service as a Licensed Funeral Director. Along the way, he  has  extensively  worked  in  administration,  fulfilling  many  roles  for  various funeral  establishments.  Using  every  experience  as  an  opportunity  to  improve the industry, and ameliorate his skills, Mr. Jackson steps forward endowed with a level of dexterity, and competence unparallel to the common standard. He is a visionary, and strives to provide excellence, and complete satisfaction for his clients while providing funeral, and memorial options that properly compliment the lifestyle of the deceased and appease the desires of the family.

Mr.  Jackson  has  served  in  many  capacities,  to  include  his  humanitarian  and compassionate career as a CCHT in the specialty of Dialysis. For a combined total of  eighteen  years  he  provided  treatment,  encouragement  and  motivation  for patients  and  families  who  have  had  to  endure  that  lifestyle.  Lawrence  is  a member,  and  the  Music  Director  of  Daleville  Christian  Fellowship  Worship Center, and Archdiocese United Christian Fellowship, International. Among his ecclesiastical  accomplishments,  he  has  received  a  myriad  of  awards,  and recognitions.  His  anointing  in  music  has  escorted  him  through  many  of  the southern  and  eastern  states  of  the  United  States.  Ministering  extensively  in music, conducting workshops, concerts, and special events locally and abroad, to  include  Johannesburg,  Soweto,  and  Botswana,  South  Africa.  He  has  a sentiment for music that will never evanesce.

Mr. Jacksons determination and motivation are inspired by his mother, as well as  the  friends,  and  family  who  have  been  leading  examples  of  perseverance through  adversity.  He  believes  that  Excellence  makes  the  difference.  Often stating, “Rise to the top because the bottom is too crowded; he gives credence to Isaiah 40:31; “but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.”

Christine McComb is a Georgia native who has lived in the Wiregrass area for many years.  The family moved to the area by way of a military transfer.  Together with her husband, Pastor Carl McComb, they have one son, Christopher, and two grandchildren, Brianna who is a senior in high school, and Carter, an adorable five-year-old boy.   Christine is a retired educator.  She began her career as an elementary school teacher and was a high school counselor at the time of her retirement.  Serving in the funeral service industry since 2000; Mrs. McComb is co-owner of a funeral home in Hartford, AL.

Mrs. McComb continues to keep busy through the work that she does in ministry at Daleville Christian Fellowship Worship Center in Daleville, AL, and for the Archdiocese United Christian Fellowship, International.  She wears many hats, and her greatest desire is to see and assist others in reaching their potential.  She is passionate, personable, and a consummate professional.

Executive Chaplain

Pastor Carl McComb is a 24-year veteran of the United States Army who hails from Huntsville, AL.  His tours of duty include Ft. Sill, OK, Ft. Gordon, and Ft. Stewart, GA, West Germany, and South Korea.  He began his service as a licensed practical nurse and transitioned to am AMOSIT (Physician’s Assistant).  Eventually, Pastor McComb got the opportunity to do what he loves whiles serving in the military.  He became a Chaplain’s Assistant and began pastoring gospel services in conjunction with his other duties.   

The son and grandson of preachers, he has preaching in his blood.   His pastorates include Gerzewski Christian Fellowship, Karlsrhue, W. Germany, Headquarters Place Chapel Gospel Hour Service, Ft. Rucker, AL, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Enterprise, AL, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Brundidge, AL

Upon his retirement in 1991, Pastor McComb founded Daleville Christian Fellowship Worship Center.  Later he founded Archdiocese United Christian Fellowship, International, an umbrella organization for inter-denominational churches.  In 2008, he founded United Christian Fellowship Dothan.  Through the Archdiocese, he oversees churches throughout the United States and in South Africa, Ghana, India, the Philippines, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and the Netherlands.  A humanitarian and visionary, Pastor McComb gets his greatest joy from being called “PaPa;” yet he still finds the time to serve as a volunteer chaplain for the Alabama State Troopers and the City of Dothan Police Department.

Ms. Jackson is a native of Baton Rouge, LA. She is the wife of the late Mr. Lawrence E. Jackson, Sr., dedicated mother of five, and beloved grandmother of seven. Before marriage and motherhood, she graduated from Scottlandville H.S. in Baton Rouge, LA. She continued her education and in 1976, Alfredia earned a Business Administration Certification from Delta School of Business.

Throughout her life, she has always cared for others. For many years, she proudly worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She passionately enjoys her family and as the Matriarch, is often called upon as an intercessor, mediator and mentor. 

Alfredia not only supports, but also, encourages all of her children, and those she mentors, to pursue and attain their goals.  Ms. Jackson faithfully fulfills her role as a mother, grandmother, and friend. Mr. Lawrence. E. Jackson, Jr. is her eldest son and she assists him daily with his professional duties. Upon entering Jackson Professional Funeral Services, she will usually be the first smiling face that you encounter.
